Kaypakkaya is a rupture with the bourgeois line and the birth in the proletarian line!

Comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA, founder and theoretical guidance of our Party, the representative of the international proletariat in Turkey, on the 48^th Anniversary of his murder continues to guide us. We keep our Comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA alive in our struggle for the New Democratic Revolution, Socialism, Communism and People’s War.

While the imperialist-capitalist system continues to crumble, it maintains its parasitic colonialism throughout the world with blood, tears and pus oozing out from all its pores. Economic-political crisis and wars on regional level sharpen the conflicts between the imperialists and further escalate the struggle for further division. The direct consequence of this situation are unjust wars, increasing poverty, millions of so-called refugees, growing reactionary and fascist organizations and a spreading of government violence. While there is this brutal order of exploitation and its consequences on one side of the picture that we are facing, on the other there are the popular masses, the revolutionaries and the communists, that fight against all this reaction and barbarism and that resist all forms of aggression.

This is why the counter-revolutionary wave that we are confronted with does not intimidate us. We know, that when masses carry a revolutionary political consciousness and act upon this consciousness, it will be seen that the imperialists and their lackeys are merely “paper tigers“. Time and again the history of the class struggle has shown, that when the masses rise with revolutionary consciousness, there is no force that can withstand it. In the historical context that we are in, this is precisely the reason why ideological clarity and practical audacity is required more then ever. The masses need political organizations and practical guidance, that is equipped with this clarity.

On the 48^th anniversary of the murder of comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA we see once again how important it is to understand and grasp the political leaders and guidance that have achieved a historical breakthrough in their lifetimes and to be inspired by them. Comrades like İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA and similar communists reflect not only the values of one country, but, furthermore, shared values of the international proletariat and are part of our common history. For exactly this reason, their teachings, their ideological positions and their political-practical audacity are considered part of the collective memory of the communists. In our persistent struggles, they continue their historical roles as guides.

The history of class struggle can only be made by daring political and practical steps. To achieve a resistance or a contradiction and an alternative to the obvious, to the accepted, against the prevailing, the conventional, the taught thoughts and the prejudices, the dogmas and the status quo is only possible, when we tear apart the “garment” that the system of exploitation and plunder has “put on us” in a way that not the smallest shred of cloth remains on us. If we even carry the smallest bit of the system on us, it is difficult and, in the end, impossible to realize a radical rupture from the system. It would mean, that we would – in one way or another – unite with the existing system on the ideological or practical plane. The fact that the capitulation to the bourgeoisie – despite the high prices paid, in the various regions of the world, from the past to the present – still takes place, is a proof of this. As an antidote to such ideological positions, comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA existed as an embodiment of the total rejection of the given system. His teaching and his guidance have not ceased.

In all parts of the world many revolutionaries and communist have existed, of which each has contributed significantly to the struggle for the revolution and communism. Some of the various revolutionaries and communists that dedicated their live for the struggle for the revolution and for socialism, and that laid the brickwork for the world revolution through their labor, their blood and their souls, have assumed a special position with their historical ruptures, their political audacity and their ideological clarity. “Breaking the ice and opening the path”, they have assumed the function of the Pole Star. These personalities, that arose in the most critical moments in the history of class struggle, built the future in the moments they lived in. And despite all counter-efforts of their class enemies, their thoughts became and continue to be guiding, also as they are hoisted be the following generations. Comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA, in his short life within the history of the class struggle, was the carrier of such a mission.

As all the other revolutionary and communist leaders, comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA is a direct product of class struggle. Through the participation in all areas in which the class struggle of the country he lived in sharpened, he made the dialectical epistemology of “practice-theory-practice” the fundamental foundation for the emergence of the ideological-political-organizational framework of the TKP/ML. At the same time he thoroughly investigated the class struggles experienced on international level and the ideological conflicts and constructed his thought step by step based on all these questions. He became the representative of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism in Turkey.

İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA is the re-blossoming of the persistent class struggle in Turkey based on the Marxist principles. First and foremost, he is the ideological rupture and a rebirth. Because he intellectually and practically differed from all the petty-bourgeois, opportunist, revisionist and parliamentary attitudes, that until then trafficked in the name of the proletariat and the oppressed laborers and claimed to act for them. In this regard, he realized principled ruptures. He is a rebirth, because he not only distinguished himself from his predecessors and those who existed back then, but he simultaneously constructed the path of true liberation for the proletariat and the oppressed laborers. In Turkey, he was the one to outline the Red Flag, which was to be waved in the callused, destroying and constructing hands of the most revolutionary class, the proletariat, and hoisted on the bastions of the bourgeoisie.

İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA was a great student of the social-political revolution in Turkey and of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, the newest stage, which was achieved in the historical progress of Marxism-Leninism through comrade Mao. He achieved this through the theoretical, political and organizational line put forward by him. He made a historical step by pointing out the necessity for a guiding and leading force in Turkey. He connected the inevitable flow of history and the dialectic of this flow to the point, to which comrade Mao has carried Marxism and he concretized the path of the revolution as People’s War. With the guidance of the Great Proletarian Culture Revolution he formed the Party. Comrade KAYPAKKAYA developed a merciless struggle against those comprehensions, which took the theoretical products and accumulations of theoretical socialism in the form of a set of dogmatic formulations or absolute formulations. While simultaneously staying true to the roots of theoretical socialism, he developed enormous connections with these roots, connected the past with the present and represents the signal fire for the conquest of the future.

Hence, he is – as he was yesterday, so also today – a torch of the international proletariat, that marches forward on the path of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. We have the honor to be the successors of this red torch of communism and comrade İbrahim KAYPAKKAYA’s ideological clarity, his political and practical courage continues to be guiding us also on the 48^th anniversary of his murder.

Numerous demonstrations were held this week across the country to condemn the results of the Munich TKP/ML trial. Ten people were arrested around Europe in 2015 and extradited to Germany, detained for over four years during legal proceedings for alleged membership in the Communist Party of Turkey/ Marxist-Leninist (TKP/ML).
On July 28 they were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 2.75 years to 6.5 years for no specific crime other than being members of a “foreign terrorist organization” (referencing TKP/ML), a Party that is not even classified as a ‘terrorist organization’ in Germany. The arrests, convictions, and sentences are clearly politically motivated and were done in service of the fascist Turkish state. COMMUNIST LEADER IBRAHIM KAYPAKKAYA IS THE NAME OF CONSISTENCY OF REVOLUTION AND DESTROYING FASCISM. HE IS OUR TORCH FOR THE PAST 47 YEARS!

May 18 has a special place in the hearts of our oppressed peoples from various nationalities and minorities. May 18 is the name of the day when comrade Communist leader Ibrahim Kaypakkaya defeated fascism in dungeons. May 18 proved that communists could inflict heavy blows on fascism even in dungeons, and at the same time became the symbol of revolutionary struggle, resistance and rebellion that would last for generations.

May 18 is the day of outcry against oppression of exploited workers, peasants who is getting poorer and poorer and whose lands are poisoned. It is also the outcry of women and LGBTI+ individuals who faces massacres on daily basis, outcry of Armenians, Kurds and other minorities who have experienced genocide, outcry of Alevi’s whom are not allowed to practicing their faiths and the outcry of immigrants who are facing misery and racist attacks on daily basis.

May 18 has been the day of not revealing secrets in the face of torture, it has been day of determination, revolutionary consciousness and has been the day of guidance.

The revolution calls of comrade ?brahim, who have raised the flag of struggle for communism via his victory on May 18, has outrun the boundaries and earned its place in the hearts of those fighting against Turkish Republic’s fascism in Rojava. Comrade Ibrahim is not only in the hearts of people of Turkey but also earned his place in the hearts of people of the Middle east.

Fascist ruling forces of Republic of Turkey thought by killing comrade Ibrahim, they can end the struggle for communism. However, after 47 years struggle for communism continues in Turkey and Kurdistan. Wherever there is an antifascist, anti-imperialist rebellion, wherever there is resistance, comrade Ibrahim is there, and he continues to lead. We can hear his revolution calls in the echoing sounds of exploited worker’s hammer, in the calloused hands of long-suffering peasants, on the barrel of the gun belonging to a guerrilla who have raised the flag of revolt to fascism, in the slogans of women and LGBT+ individuals who are massacred on daily basis, in the slogans of youth whose future is stolen, in the roots of the trees and forests which has been destroyed, in the fight for justice of Alevi’s and in the silent scream of those facing genocide.

As if all the oppression, cruelties, massacres are not enough, we are addressing our people who pay the price in the corona epidemic. The only reason for this epidemic is the imperialists and capitalists who destroy our nature and privatise the health system. The measures taken are but dressings, and the rich are intended to protect themselves in the first place. During the epidemic, capitalists deem proper death to workers and laborers. This epidemic has once again brought us the real and bloody face of the system. There is no value for any oppressed or exploited in the eyes of system in times of disaster.

Our people should know that the response of the comrade Ibrahim’s call for revolution is the fall of the fascist dictatorship. Revolutionary violence against fascist power, which continues its power from the beginning to the end with force and oppression, is our sine qua non. Our organization and arms are the only ways to get rid of fascism.

We continue to challenge fascism and imperialist-capitalist order on the day we commemorate comrade Kaypakkaya. As we did on May 18, 1973, today, we are waving the red flag we have taken over from comrade Ibrahim, in all our positions, and we continue to raise the hope.

Do not be afraid that the fascist power, which is equipped with its media and high technology, cannot be destroyed.

Do not think that the people who suffered genocide will be silent forever, they will be bow to their fate.

Do not think that the working class will not rebel against this system of exploitation. We will of course destroy this order.

We will ask for the account of Helin Bölek, Mustafa Koçak, ?brahim Gökçek and the revolutionary and patriotic martyrs whose tombs were destroyed.

We are reborn from our own ashes; we fuel the fire of rebellion with our wings from the fire. We re-ignite the spark of Vartinik in the hearts of all oppressed. We will ignite this spark, which they could not extinguish on May 18, 1973, throughout the country.

In the person of Deniz Gezmiş, Yusuf Aslan, Hüseyin ?nan, Haki Karer, Ferhat Kurtay, Necmi Öner, Mahmut Zengin, Eşref Any?k and Ulaş Bayraktaro?lu, we respectfully bow to our immortals and all the immortals of the international proletariat that we lost in May, and we promise once again that we will grow their struggles. Today, in four parts of Kurdistan, we continue to grow the fight of the Haki Karer and Ferhat Kurtay, Necmi Öner, Mahmut Zengin, Eşref Any?k, and many martyrs of the National Freedom Struggle, who torch their bodies against the darkness of today’s Zahaks in uniform.

We call on all our people to strengthen our struggle and take their place in the path to revolution.

CALL FOR THE FREEDOM FOR MUSLUM ELMA

Dear comrades and friends

We are writing to request your support for the urgent campaign for the freedom of our comrade, Müslüm Elma. He is a tireless communist leader that having endured long years of imprisonment in Turkey, since April 2015, remains incarcerated in prison in Munich, Germany.

He is one of the 10 comrades that were arrest in April 2015 as part of joint German-Turkish operations against our party. To date 9 of those arrested have been released. However, the case of comrade Müslüm Elma remains open as the German state intends to continue to prosecute and keep him in prison.

Comrade Elma suffers from multiple health conditions that are due to the long years of imprisonment, being subjected to torture and ill-treatment and the result of repeated hunger strikes and resistance in prison. Despite his fragile condition and the threat of infection with Covid-19 in prison, the German authorities continue to keep him incarcerated.

At the present situation of devastating effects of the spread of the Coronavirus, we must rise to extend our collective solidarity and bring maximum pressure for the release of the comrade from prison.

We request all comrades to join and bring resources together to help advance the campaign for freedom of Müslüm Elma. THE REAL VIRUS IS THE IMPERIALIST CAPITALIST SYSTEM!

Glory to May 1st, Workers Day of International Unity and Solidarity!

We welcome another May 1st, which is the day of international unity, solidarity and struggle of the working class. May 1st, 2020 takes place in the shadow of the world-wide popular riots in the last months of 2019 and the Covid-19 virus outbreak that threatened the whole world in recent months. The imperialist capitalist system does not give the world proletariat and its peoples anything other than hunger, poverty, unemployment, war and migration. Now, a pandemic has been added to these problems.

In the second half of 2019, the conditions imposed by the imperialist capitalist system on the working class and the broad laborers led to the masses rebelling and performing mass demonstrations and actions in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Another consequence of the system’s excessive ambition to profit and exploitation is epidemic diseases. Today, the Coronavirus has spread to almost the whole world and has become a threat to humanity and once again reveals the reality of the class society we live in. The decisive factor in the emergence and spread of the outbreak is the excessive profit ambition, exploitation, occupation and plunder of the imperialist capitalist system. Capitalism is increasingly interfering with nature, this situation leads to ecological problems, climate change, etc. This reality brings with it the increasing exposure of the peoples of the world to “natural” disasters, deaths from air and environmental pollution, virus outbreaks, deaths from hunger, poverty and thirst.

The bourgeoisie has “created itself a world as it wants” over time and this has brought humanity to new threats such as outbreaks. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, millions of people were infected and hundreds of thousands of people have died. Another decisive reason for this is that the capitalist imperialist system transforms the health sector into a profit instrument. An entire sector, primarily vaccine studies, has been organized according to the needs of the capitalist system, and the profit of companies and monopolies has been brought to the fore. This situation increases the casualties even more.

The outbreak is not a cause but a consequence. The real threat to humanity is the imperial capitalist system.

We have no alternative but to struggle against the imperialist capitalist system to survive; build a world without classes, borders and exploitation. In accordance with this fact, May 1st, 2020 should be instrumental in the international unity, struggle and solidarity of the working class.

May 1st; It is the day that our demands are shouted and our solidarity is strengthened!

The Turkish state has once again demonstrated in the face of the pandemic that it is the enemy of the working class and the enemy of the people. The fascist state has “shielded” the ruling classes with the packages which was declared under the name of precaution, while it is low enough to distribute cologne and send an IBAN number to the working class and the public. With the curfew they announced at the last moment under the name of measure, with the practices that marginalize the elderly, etc. instead of protecting the working class and the people from the pandemic, they caused it to spread. Every step they take, every policy they put into practice is not aimed at protecting the interests of the working class and working people, but their own class interests.

On the one hand, the people living in their palaces call for “stay at home” and on the other hand, they are called “the wheels must turn” and work is imposed on the working class and laborers at the expense of death. With the law enacted, unpaid leave is imposed on the working class and strikes are prohibited.

The Turkish ruling classes said, “We will turn the pandemic into an opportunity,” and also prevented the solidarity of the people, banned the aid campaigns of the municipalities, and continued to appoint trustees and arrests in Kurdish provinces. They have made amendments to the law of execution and released murderers, rapists, child abusers, mafia members, but they have left communist and revolutionary prisoners and opponents to die in prisons.

Against these public enemy policies of fascism, the working class and working people must once again express their demands on the occasion of May 1st. Apart from compulsory sectors (working conditions should be improved, health and hygiene conditions should be provided and working hours should be arranged for these sectors as well), production should be stopped and working class and public health should be prioritized. Layoffs should be banned, and paid leave should be given to all employees. In factories, workshops and fields; everywhere life is produced, we do not have any choice but to strengthen the class consciousness, increase our struggle, adopt our struggle to the new conditions against those who think we deserve to die but they to live.

Long Live Proletarian Internationalism!

1973 ජනවාරි 24 වෙනි දින ටුන්සෙලි තුර්කි කඳුවැටියේ ප‍්‍රතිගාමීන් සමග සිදුවූ සටනින් තුවාල ලැබූ ඊබ‍්‍රාහිම් කේපක්කයා එම ස්ථානයෙන් පලා යෑමට සමත්විය. තුවාල ලද ඔහු සතියකට පමණ පසු සිරභාරයට පත් විය. පසුව ඔහුට 50km පමණ දුරක් හිම මතින් සහ අයිස් ගංගා මතින්නගරයක් නගරයක් පාසා සහිතපාවහන් රහිත නග්න දෙපා වලින් ඇවිදින්නට බල කළහ. ඔහුව හාරමසක් තිස්සේ හුදෙකලා සිරකුටියක සිරගත කොට පසුව වධ දී මරා දමනු ලැබූහ. ඔහු පක්ෂය සහ සිය සහෝදරවරුන් ගැන කිසිදු තොරතුරක් එළිදරව් නොකලෙන් වෙඩි තබා මරා දමනු ලැබූහ.

තුර්කියේ ජාතික බුද්ධි තොරතුරු සංවිධානය ඊබ‍්‍රාහිම් කේපක්කයා තුර්කි විප්ලවවාදීන්ගෙන් වඩාත් භයානකම පුද්ගයා ලෙස වාර්තා කළේ තනිවම තුර්කියට කොමියුනිස්ට් අදහස් ගෙන ඒමට තරම් ඔහු සතු සංවිධානය කිරීමේ හැකියාව නිසායි.
